WHERE THE JOBS ARE • CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
EMT is an entry level training course for careers such as paramedicine, physician assistant, nursing and medicine. Many vocational occupations, such as fire service, lifeguard, law enforcement and search and rescue, require EMT certification. Industry's demand for trained and certified emergency medical technicians is rapidly increasing and expanding into other areas of allied healthcare.

San Diego Miramar College is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Enrollment is open to high school graduates and persons at least 18 years of age, with or without a high school diploma or under 18 with special/counselor approval. Applicants should be physically fit.
San Diego Miramar College is a community college with low enrollment fees established by the California State Legislature. Veteran’s Affairs (VA) benefits, scholarships, and other financial aid are available to qualifying students.
