Dozens of city, county, state and federal career options are available to the Administration of Justice major, including: arson investigator, police officer, correctional officer, postal inspector, crime prevention specialist, private and industrial, crime scene investigator, security officer, deputy sheriff, probation officer, insurance investigator, public safety dispatcher, parole officer.
Professors have first-hand knowledge and experience in a variety of administration of justice professions.

San Diego Miramar College is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Common university majors for students interested in transfer to four-year colleges and universities include: Criminal Justice, Law, and Public Administration.
Enrollment is open to high school graduates and persons at least 18 years of age, with or without a high school diploma.
San Diego Miramar College is a community college with low enrollment fees established by the California State Legislature. Veteran’s Affairs (VA) benefits, scholarships, and other financial aid are available to qualifying students.
