Personal Trainer

WHAT IS IT?

The new Personal Trainer Certificate Program at San Diego Miramar College provides the latest information you’ll need for entering, expanding, or advancing your career in the fitness industry.

Using both theory and hands-on training, emphasis is on real world skills, today’s employment requirements, and finding each student’s best fit in the broad range of opportunity. All instruction is by highly experienced, working professionals in convenient, well-equipped classrooms and labs.

WHERE THE JOBS ARE • CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Certified personal trainers (which you will be upon completion) find employment opportunities at health clubs, studios, fitness centers, recreation centers, and gyms. Graduates will also be prepared to work as independent contractors or start their own business. Whether you want to work for someone or yourself, in a health club or training outside in the open air, you’ll be prepared as a graduate of the San Diego Miramar College Fitness Specialist Program.
