An associate degree from San Diego Miramar College is a great, inexpensive way to complete the first two years of your degree with easy transfer programs to complete your bachelor’s degree at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. San Diego Miramar College is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
Simulator flight training and rigorous academic study provide a strong foundation for leadership positions in the aviation industry. Program emphasis includes: group dynamics, human factors, and safety awareness along with the technical

WHY PAY THE HIGH COST OF A TRADE SCHOOL?
San Diego Miramar College is a community college with low enrollment fees established by the California State Legislature with the lowest rates reserved for California residents of at least one year. Veteran’s Affairs (VA) benefits, scholarships, and other financial aid is available to qualifying students. Miramar College’s Aviation Operations Program meets all requirements of the Federal Aviation Administration’s Part 141 Pilot Ground School.
Enrollment is open to high school graduates and persons at least 18 years of age, with or without a high school diploma. Applicants should be mechanically adept and possess basic math and English skills. Day and evening classes are offered to fit your schedule.
